Live Scope
What the current public release actually does
Live capabilities
- Compress JPEG pages target a file-size budget locally and keep the original file if it is already under the limit.
- PNG compression pages keep PNG output and may reduce pixel dimensions when needed to move toward the target size.
- Resize-to-size pages work with static JPEG, PNG, and WebP files while preserving the original aspect ratio.
- YouTube pages export an exact output canvas and keep the whole image visible, with padding added when ratios do not match.
Current limits
- The public release is limited to static JPEG, PNG, and WebP images.
- Animated GIF, video, and other media workflows are not part of the current live toolset.
- Target-size pages aim for the requested file size as closely as practical, but the exact result still depends on the source image.
- The current platform pages do not auto-crop; they fit the full image inside the exact output canvas.
